Warm fuzzy feelings…
It really creates a warm, fuzzy feeling when people you respect say nice things about you.
Here’s Chris Benjamin on Twitter: "For inspiration and knowledge that is mind-blowing, and world-changing, check out the Green Interview"
Ahhh! Thanks, Chris. And then Jodi DeLong, on Facebook, had this comment:
"I had a big Green Interview marathon last Sunday, Don, while I was editing photos.
Fascinating stuff, and I loved most of it. I was alternately encouraged (Vandana Shiva, Elizabeth May), puzzled and fascinated (Jeff Rubin), and deeply depressed (Farley Mowat). Next on my list is James Lovelock. Nothing will make me listen to Watson, though. Email coming once I wade through the to-do list accumulated by my few days off. :-)"
To which I replied:
"Wow! You did have a marathon! Thanks for the bulk review, so to speak. I think if you did listen to Watson you’d meet a very different man from the one you think you know — but I agree he’s intemperate, over-the-top, etc. But think of the whales rather than the seals. Does anyone else have anything like his effectiveness?
"Thanks again!"
Gives us a warm, fuzzy feeling. Those are exactly the reactions we want this site to provoke.
