The Green Interview is On The Air!

The Green Interview is on the air! Segments of the interviews are being broadcast over the educational services of Mount St. Vincent University. That’s Channel 333 on Eastlink Cable anywhere in the four Atlantic Provinces of Canada, and over the air on ASN (the Atlantic Satellite Network).
What we’re broadcasting are 20-minute excerpts from some of the interviews. The full interviews are still available only on the Web, and only to subscribers. Some of the livelier sections aren’t appropriate for family viewing, so to speak, so in general these are more tame versions of the shows. But this new initiative does make some of them partially available to a wider public.
Because educational broadcasters in Canada do extensive program exchanges, this may mean that The Green Interview can be seen in many different parts of Canada.
And when are the programs being broadcast? We have no idea. That’s because the priority for educational broadcasters is formal educational programming, so English 420 or Necromancy 111 will take precedence over any other programming. Programs like ours are used to fill in the gaps. So you might see our show at midnight, or 6:00 AM, or on Sunday afternoon. It’s completely unpredictable.
That said, we’re delighted at this new stage in the evolution of the project, and pleased to give something back to the university, which has been a very generous partner to us.
